Calliope
Calliope is Amity's literary magazine. It is published and sold in the spring. All students
are invited to submit original poetry, prose, artwork, and lyrics.

PLAHD
PLAHD is Amity High School's GSA. Our mission is to "educate the Amity community
about different lifestyles in order to prevent homophobia." We sponsor several events during the school year. These events
include the Day of Silence, a field trip to the Our True Colors conference, and-- periodically-- the Stonewall Speakers.
Last year's trip to Our True Colors was a great success. But we're not done yet. . .
All students are welcome to attend meetings, which are held every other Tuesday, after
school, in room 102.

Readers and Eaters
Readers and Eaters is a student book group. We meet about once a month, to discuss a book
we chose together, and to eat (of course). Any student who likes to read (and eat) may join anytime during the schol year.
